On January 6th, 2017 Africa Thriving delivered 1,400 pounds of beans, 1,600 pounds of maize, 400 pounds of rice, 80 liters of cooking oil, 25 pounds of salt and 10,000 liters of water to Risa Primary School in Southern Kenya. The closest source of clean drinking water is a 6 km trek from the school and they have never experienced an entire supply of food for all students. There are almost 300 students in the school and they all walk long distances across the African wilderness on their quest for an education. This delivery was made possible by your generous donations and the support of Daybreak Church in Carlsbad, California.
With your continued support, we will do many more of these to many other similar communities. We believe that the future generations that are currently students at these schools will be the leaders of their communities to help Africa Thrive for generations to come. The delivery was made by our Kenyan leaders, Boniface Kinyanjui and Daniel Soope.
